Eligibility Criteria

Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in STEM, Social Sciences, Economics, or Law with an aggregate score of not less than 60%.

English Language Proficiency: Adequate English language proficiency requirements must be fulfilled with the submission of official English test scores for IELTS (6.5 overall score) and TOEFL, among others.

Research and Return Promise: Applicants must undertake to perform thesis research related to existing WDPP water projects in their native countries, as well as commit to returning home after completion of their studies.

How to apply

Step 1: Applying for Academic Admission First: You will not fill out a separate scholarship application form. You will have to go to the website of IHE Delft and submit your application for admission to MSc in Water and Sustainable Development.

Step 2: Uploading Your Academic Portfolio: Fill out the registration dashboard with information on your work experience and upload your transcripts, CV, and scanned passport photo.

Step 3: Uploading the Employer Letter: Make sure that your employer statement letter is signed and stamped. It should be uploaded as one of your two required reference letters.

Step 4: Responding to Five Motivation Questions: Submit your answers to the five specified motivation questions.

Step 5: Lock Your Application Entry and Confirm English Scores Before June 1: Submit your complete academic application dashboard. Make sure that your English test results are sent from your testing center to IHE Delft before June 1, 2026.
